New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and everyone wants to ring it in right! It can feel like a lot of pressure, but fear not! We here at GenZe want you have a safe and fun time, so we have put together this list of tips to help you make sure your NYE is awesome!

Skip the club

New Year’s Eve is notorious for being one of the most expensive nights of the year to go out. Cover prices are out of control and the extra packed dance floors make it hard to get your groove on. Instead of wasting a lot of time, and money, gather up your friends and go somewhere less crowded.

Don’t Drink and Drive

You’ve heard it a million times, but “don’t drink and drive” will always be excellent advice. To make sure you are on your A-game decide early on if you want to have a glass of bubbly or not. If you want to drink, that’s fine, but find another way to get where you are going and back.

Catch the Fireworks

Fireworks are one of the best parts of New Year’s Eve, so rally your crew and get ready to see some pyrotechnic magic! The only problem with fireworks is the best spots to see them tend to be a parking nightmare, so be sure to take your trusty e-bike or 2.0 to see the show. That way you don’t have to worry about looking for parking when the clock strikes midnight.

Remember 2016, Welcome 2017

Reflection is a powerful tool, and nothing inspires it more than New Year’s Eve. Before you head out for the night, take some time to make a list of things you accomplished throughout the year. Then start a second list of things you hope to achieve in the coming year. Now take a look at both of them and feel great about what you have done and excited for what you will do.

We want to wish you all a safe and happy New Year’s Eve. We hope you are surrounded by the people you love and that you are ready for adventure in 2017. Happy New Year!
