We’re excited to announce we have partnered with Scoot Networks in San Francisco to expand their fleet with our one-of-a-kind connected all-electric scooter, the GenZe 2.0. Hundreds of GenZe 2.0s will be covering the streets of San Francisco this summer, making Scoot’s fleet the largest in all of North America.
Scoot Networks has grown exponentially since 2012 to keep up with the urban mobility needs of San Francisco. Scoot allows individuals to rent all-electric scooters and ride them anywhere in the city. With the convenience of charging stations and ample access to street parking, riding with Scoot is a seamless experience. In addition to the convenience and low cost, there are no hurdles in regards to obtaining a license, as Scoots do not require a motorcycle license. Local riders can join Scoot as monthly members, or pay as they go. And out-of-towners can also take advantage of Scoot with their 2-day Visitor Pass.
“We’ve never been able to fully meet our riders’ demand for scoots until now. The electric scooter is the best way to get around town, and now our riders will be able to get one whenever they need to go anywhere”, says Michael Keating, Scoot founder and CEO. “Anyone in SF will be able to get from point A to B quickly and affordably. Our partnership with Genze is huge for San Francisco, huge for the other cities where we’ll one day operate, and huge for electric transportation around the world.”
The advanced new GenZe Scoots have no keys and are unlocked using only a smartphone. Our 100% electric scooter is the most efficient, user friendly and sustainable transportation alternative for short distances with:
• Minimalistic Aluminum exo-skeleton design
• Class leading large storage Back Bay, with a 75-pound payload capacity
• Removable battery with an integrated charger that plugs in anywhere
• Excellent ride quality with a larger front tire, calibrated throttle response and hill climbing ability
