Are there warranties on your products?
Yes. We offer a 3-year warranty on the GenZe 2.0, a 2-year warranty on the GenZe e-bike battery, and an 18-month warranty on the other components of the GenZe e-bike.
How often will my GenZe need to be serviced?
Your GenZe 2.0 is meant to operate in all kinds of weather conditions and is basically maintenance free. Normal wear items such as tires and brakes will need replacement at the end of their service life, which will vary depending on the type of riding you do and the severity of use. If any service needs develop, you will be notified as to the need and extent.
Where do I go to get my GenZe serviced?
GenZe is committed to only delivering 2.0’s in areas that are supported by our Service Centers. We operate a fleet of service vehicles that will service or repair your GenZe 2.0 at your location, or pick it up for transport back at our service centers.
What happens if something breaks and I need a repair?
Contact the GenZe Service Center by phone. Your GenZe Mobile App will also inform you of the contact number, and give you a trouble code if your 2.0 has Telemetry installed.
Does the connected app provide service/diagnostics remotely?
Yes, your Mobile App will run a diagnostic scan of your 2.0 and report any issues found. It will also indicate the severity of the issue and direct you to call GenZe service if required.

Where can I buy a GenZe e-bike or GenZe 2.0 scooter?
You can purchase an e-bike or 2.0 at any of our retail locations or order online and we will ship it to you. Our e-bikes are also available on Amazon.com.
Will you only sell direct?
For the e-bikes, no. We are working with select dealers and distributers. However for the 2.0, we will only be selling direct. We want to establish relationships with our consumers. We also want to service the 2.0s directly.

How fast will the GenZe 2.0 go?
The GenZe 2.0 will go up to 30mph. And while you can’t take it on highways, it works on over 80% of city streets.
How far will the GenZe 2.0 go on a single charge?
The GenZe 2.0 will go an average of 30 miles per charge. Range is affected by the weight of the rider, the type of terrain, and the speed in which the GenZe 2.0 is driven. And did you know that the average commute is less than 8 miles a day?

Is the GenZe 2.0 heavy?
It’s not light. The GenZe 2.0 weighs 232 pounds. Our aluminum exoskeleton helps you stay connected to the road, and maintain your center of gravity easily. However, the removable battery pack is less than 30 pounds, which makes charging a breeze.
Where can I go to get my GenZe 2.0 charged?
Simply put: anywhere with electricity. The GenZe 2.0 has a rechargeable battery pack the size of a standard briefcase. To recharge, simply take the battery pack out and plug it into any standard outlet. The GenZe 2.0 can also be recharged without taking out the battery by plugging the battery’s removable cord into a wall outlet in your garage.
Do I need a motorcycle license to ride a GenZe?
That depends. In Oregon, you only need a standard driver’s license. In California, you need an M2.
Can my GenZe 2.0 be washed?
As with any electric vehicle, care should always be taken when washing.
Can I ride the GenZe 2.0 in bike lanes?
It depends on where you live. In Michigan and Oregon, you cannot. In California, the GenZe 2.0 is considered a motorized bicycle in the eyes of the law (Vehicle Code 406). According to the Vehicle Code 21207.5, it states that:
it is allowed to be ridden on bike lanes as long as it is within or adjacent to a roadway or unless the local authority or the governing body of a public agency having jurisdiction over the path or trail permits, by ordinance, that operation.
You can’t, however, ride on bike paths within the State of California.

What’s an e-bike?
An e-bike is a bicycle with an integrated electric motor. It’s a boost when you need it, and a bike when you don’t.
What differentiates GenZe e-bikes from the competition?
GenZe e-bikes are different for a few reasons:
- There’s a throttle and pedal-assist option (many e-bikes offer only pedal-assist)
- The motor is in the back, which provides a gentle push and a more balanced ride (other options have it in the front, pulling you forward)
- The battery pops out easily so you can charge it anywhere (and integrates into the frame)
- It’s high quality, but affordable (many e-bikes are twice the price)
How fast will it go?
GenZe e-bikes will go up to 20mph in throttle mode.
How far will it go on a single charge?
Using the throttle only, GenZe e-bikes will go about 20 miles per charge. With pedal assist, the range extends to 20-40 miles per charge. Range is affected by the weight of the rider, the type of terrain, and frequent stops and starts. Did you know that the average commute is less than 8 miles a day?
Is there a product warranty?
Yes, we offer a 24-month warranty on the battery, and an 18-month/1,800 mile warranty on the parts and frame.
Is it heavy?
GenZe e-bikes are 46 pounds, which in the world of e-bikes is relatively lightweight. GenZe e-bikes also have a convenient walk mode for stairs and steep hills, so you don’t have to pick them up.
