These are unprecedented times, and as the situation continues to develop, we wanted to check in with our riders and customers to let you know that we’re thinking of you, we’re here for you, and we’re all in this together.
With offices and employees across the country, we’re no strangers to working from home. Here are a few of our suggestions for making the most of your time out of the office.
- Get outside a few times each day within the guidelines of your local and state mandates. Go for a bike ride. Go for a walk. There’s plenty of room in the great outdoors for social distancing! Fresh air and vitamin D are both wonderful for your health and your peace of mind.
- Take a moment to breathe. Break out your yoga mat, put that piece of exercise equipment to use you’ve been meaning to do forever, or just stretch and reflect. Whenever you can, focus on the positives.
Don’t let the news consume you. The news can be overwhelming right now. And social media can spread misinformation as fast as it spreads good information. Stay current enough to stay safe, but don’t get stuck in the weeds.
- Maintain a regular routine. Follow a schedule like you were going to work every day. Wake up at a similar time, eat breakfast, have a set time for lunch, and take breaks. It may feel unnecessary, but it can help to avoid burnout.
- Practice kindness. To say people are a little on edge right now would be an understatement. When you do have interactions with people, consider what they’re going through. This is especially true for the people you’re cooped up at home with.
We’re here if you need us, taking care of product and parts orders as fast as circumstances permit. And we’re going to get through this. Together.
